nothing new really going on. I am working part time in the deli department at
Stop n Shop....i love it!!!! I seem to the be closer, which means I work
5-10:00 or 10:30pm....I don't mind, I need the extra money, every little bit
helps when you live in NJ....hopefully the new governor will do a much better job
than Corzine. I am so hoping that Governor Christie will honor the NJDOT
contract, give them back their raises that CorSlim took away, and do away
with them having to take mandatory days off without pay. That day off really hurts
especially, if you are like my husband and has been with them since he was 18, he will
be there 25 years next April. The politicians really need to take a look at the average
people who are trying to make ends meet without any assistance and give them a break.
It's not fair that my tax dollars go to those who are too lazy to get up out of the chair
and find a job......I found a job, because I had too. There are jobs out there, you just
have to really look hard, and can't be picky on what you get offered. This isn't
my dream job, but it's something, it pays some bills, puts some food on my table,
buys my kids the necessities, because right now, thats all we can afford. I take my
spare change and buy a Mega Million ticket once a week, hoping and praying
that I win....I don't need all of it.....$500,000. would be enough to pay off
my house, get us out of debt and maybe even have enough to put a down payment
on another house, and get out of the hell hole i live in. the house isn't bad, it's my
neighbor....talk about a neighbor from hell.....grab a cup of coffee and I will
tell you some stories about this idiot.
Anyway, just wanted to check in and let the few peeps who do follow me know whats
going on. If anyone knows how I can make about $1000.00 before the end of November,
let me know or I won't have a house to live in. We have had such problems with our
mortgage company promising us that when we refinanced we would be able to escrow
our taxes within 6 months of refinancing, all they would need to do is add it on.....LIES LIES LIES
so we try to pay taxes out of pocket, but with having to take days off without pay, really put
us behind, so if you all don't see me after dec 10, i'm homeless.
I'm in the middle of trying to make a scrap kit or two.....selling them isn't really working out,
guess i just don't have enough talent and/or resources to make really beautiful ones.
but I will keep trying, at least for a while.
